Tracey Cornella-Carlson,
MD
Dr. Cornella-Carlson is a board-certified
child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She received her
medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1992. At
Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Dr.
Cornella-Carlson completed a three-year general psychiatry
residency and a two-year fellowship in child and adolescent
psychiatry, during which she was Chief Fellow. She specializes
in the treatment of eating disorders and is currently a leader
and clinician at the Adolescent Inpatient, Residential and
Partial Hospitalization Programs at Rogers Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Cornella-Carlson is licensed to practice psychiatry in
the state of Wisconsin, and a current member of the Academy
for Eating Disorders and the American Academy of Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry.
Theodore Weltzin,
MD
Ted Weltzin, M.D., has been involved in
treatment and research related to eating disorders for 20
years. He has also treated thousands of individuals struggling
with issues such as depression and anxiety. He is the Medical
Director of Eating Disorder Services at Rogers Memorial Hospital,
a leader in psychiatric care. He was on the faculty at the
University of Pittsburgh, Western Psychiatric Institute and
Clinic from 1988 to 1994 and he served as the medical director
of the Inpatient Center for Overcoming Problem Eating during
that time. Dr. Weltzin was also on the faculty at the University
of Wisconsin as the director of the Depression Treatment Program.
Dr. Weltzin has written over 40 publications,
lectured internationally and appeared as an expert on CNN,
CBS, and Good Morning America. He currently serves on the
Board of Directors for the Eating Disorder Coalition, as well
as, the editorial board for “Eating Disorders: The Journal
of Treatment and Prevention.”
Clinical Psychologists:
Michael Hammer, PhD
Dr. Hammer specializes in providing psychotherapy
to adults and couples. He has experience working with mental
health issues in men, stress and anger management, sex offender
treatment, and adult psychological testing. He has also been
a presenter on topics such as stress management to large groups
working at various organizations.
Michael OrRico, PhD
Dr. OrRico has extensive training and experience
working with children. He specializes in psychological testing
of children including achievement, behavioral, and intelligence
testing. He also specializes in neuropsychological testing
of adults.
Clinical Therapists:
Vanessa S. Sovine,
LMFT
Vanessa is a Licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist who specializes in the treatment of eating
disorders. She recently moved to Wisconsin from Minnesota
where she worked at The Emily Program, the
premiere eating disorder clinic in Minnesota. Vanessa enjoys
working with individuals, groups, couples, and families
who are affected by eating disorders. Vanessa uses
various methods in her approach with clients, and is
very passionate about helping individuals recover from their
eating disorders. She likes to meet the client "where
they are at" through practices such as Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution
Focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation.
Prior to working at The Emily Program, Vanessa
gained counseling and grief work experience through her position
with the American Cancer Society (ACS). Following her work
with ACS, Vanessa worked as an In-Home therapist with people
who struggled with chemical dependency and mood disorders.
Vanessa graduated from the University
of Minnesota with a double major in Family Social Science
and Child Psychology. After serving in the Peace Corps, Vanessa
then attended Adler Graduate School where she received her
Masters in marriage and family therapy.
Jennifer Yessa-Kast, MSW, LCSW
Jennifer has extensive experience working
with children and adolescents. She utilizes play therapy and
various family therapy models to address behavioral issues
and assist parents in managing their children’s symptoms.
She also specializes in the treatment of negative self esteem,
depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder, grief and loss. She has been trained
to work with children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect.
Jim Williams,
LCSW
Jim typically sees clients from age 12 and
up. He usually works with adults on communication, problem
solving, and coping skills in stressful situations. Jim sees
individuals, couples and families. The setting is often in
the office, but also includes long term care facilities for
geriatric clients. Jim will at times give clients “homework”
assignments to help maximize their efforts. He is both present
and future focused. Jim believes that plowing up the past
repeatedly only maximizes past pain.
Jim is a veteran who served in Viet Nam
and spent time in a V.A. Hospital, which he believes has given
him unique experience and insight about trauma and healing.

Beth Whittemore,
MSW, LCSW, LMFT
Beth is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been
working with teens, adults, couples and families for the past
20 years. She specializes in treatment that addresses domestic
violence as well as anger management. She has experience treating
couples who are experiencing relationship issues, including
same gender couples. She has helped hundreds of individuals
overcome depression and anxiety, enhance parenting skills
with blended families, improve self-esteem, and decrease stress.
Richard Zabriskie, MSW, LCSW, SAC
Rick is a licensed clinical social worker
and substance abuse counselor who works with clients that
have mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. He treats
individuals who are 15 years of age and older. He is credentialed
to provide follow-up assessments and treatment for individuals
who have been charged with OWI’s. He also specializes
in the treatment of clients charged with disorderly conduct/domestic
related, anger management, depression, anxiety, marital discord,
career issues, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Rick enjoys
helping individuals find healthy strategies to cope with life
stresses.
